These are incredibly comfy especially as normal wellies tend to be too wide on the ankles. Therefore, I wouldn't recommend these for ladies with larger calves. They come up higher than most wellies perfect for those deeper puddles and mud. The sole seems to have enough grip for most purposes. I just wish they were a bit cheaper.
