CEREAL SEEDS
Here at Farmway we have a long and proud tradition of growing and packing quality cereal seed at our production plant based at Piercebridge near Darlington.
The plant recently went through a major upgrade to convert to 25kg bags and to install a new 500kg big bag production line showing our long term commitment to seed production. In recent years the seed division has continued to grow substantially to become a major force within our trading area against a background of uncertainty within the seed sector which has resulted in several seed production plants closing down across the UK.

Today we offer a comprehensive range of all the leading varieties of Wheat, Barley and Oil Seed Rape, all of which can be seen growing in large commercial plots at our Trial site near Darlington. This allows our customers to gain a more representative view of the varieties that could best suit their farms and the opportunity to speak directly to the breeders in question.
At the same time we have developed an unrivalled level of service and support which is vital not only to our business whether it be through the utilisation of our own transport fleet ensuring that the whole seed production and delivery process is retained in house to our highly regarded Arable Seed Guide which is produced each year and to our farmer customers in an ever reducing window of supply and demand.
Our motto here at Farmway Seeds is PROUD TO BE LOCAL, a local production facility in the North of England supported by a network of local Country Stores and local Sales Representatives, we are grateful for your custom and look forward to being of service to you.
