PIERCEBRIDGE GRAIN SILOS

Piercebridge Grain Silos are a TASCC (Trade Assured Scheme for Combinable Crops) registered store with capacity to store 40,000 tonnes of grain.  The Silo has the capability to intake 3000 tonnes per day, clean 100 tonnes of grain per hour and dry 90 tonnes per hour with temperatures and ventilation constantly monitored by computer. 

On arrival grain is tested and graded with guaranteed premiums paid for quality produce.  Piercebridge Silo charges are published  prior to  Harvest so there is no uncertainty on deductions from grain, and there is the added bonus of no weighbridge intake charge. Various options are available on storage or purchases with futures and intervention possible.  For peace of mind all  grain intakes are insured for loss in store and bankruptcy.

Grain Laboratory

The site operates a fully equipment laboratory including the latest technology.
Farmway participate in Trade ring testing schemes to monitor performance.
Moisture meters are modem linked to outside laboratories where results can be constantly checked.
Vehicles are automatically sampled according to NFU standards.
Rigorous auditing ensures the laboratory operates to very high standards.
