ReadiGrass 15kg Horse Feed is 100% natural ryegrass grown in British pastures. The low-temperature drying process removes the water – but leaves the fragrant aroma, vibrant colour and high nutrient value of fresh grass. ReadiGrass is ideal for horses with limited grazing access, feed intolerances, poor teeth and horses prone to coughs caused by spores in hay.

Friendship Estates is a family-run farming and feed manufacturing business, based in Stubbs Walden, near Doncaster.
Many year’s experience of growing and harvesting grass led to the development of their low temperature-dried grass product Readigrass in 1995. Readigrass retains the colour and aroma of fresh grass and is marketed currently by Spillers (Mars Horsecare UK Ltd.)
The desire ‘to do what we do better’ led to Friendship Estates achieving two feed quality assurance schemes in 2004. The UFAS (Universal Feed Assurance Standard) for Compound Feeds which covers the chaff, extruded mixtures and straight cereals; and FEMAS (Feed Materials Assurance Scheme) covers the Horsehage products, dried Grass and Herbs, and straight extruded cereals.

I buy Readigrass for my guinea pig. He loves it. My local pet shop sells Readigrass at a pound for a carrier bag size which lasts him about a day.
This size bale lasts him a year (so make sure you have somewhere to store it because it's HUGE).
Delivery is fast from Farmway and the website is easy to use.
