Equilibrium Equi Chaps Close Contact Chaps help to prevent mud fever by keeping legs clean and dry and by covering part of the hoof, bulbs of the heel and coronet band mud is prevented from getting inside the chap. The boots are also ideal for hacking as well as turnout, they are made from tough, breathable stomatex and can be worn comfortably for up to 12 hours per day.
Equi Chaps fit like a second skin and are very flexible allowing full movement while protecting from mud and injuries. The boots are easy to fit and are fastened by 4 strong velcro straps, they are fully washable and easy to dry. It is very important to select the correct size in the chaps. If they are too big, they will slip down or allow mud to get under the chap, too small and stress will be exerted on the seams leading to splitting.
