Cottage Craft Fillis Stirrup Irons are heavier for extra safety. Suitable for dressage and jumping. For safety and a good fit the stirrup should have enough width, height and weight to be able to recover it easily if your foot slips out. The fillis irons come complete with white treads.
When fitting for size there should be approx ½ inch (1-1.5cm) gap either side of riding boot. Fitted too small and there is a risk of getting your foot stuck, too big and there is a risk of your foot slipping right through the stirrup.
