Cottage Craft Peacock Safety Stirrup Irons are the ideal safety stirrup for children and beginners. The design of the iron allows the foot to release easily in the event of a fall, preventing the child’s foot from being caught. One set of rubber and leather straps provided, please order treads separately. Not suitable for larger adults as irons could bend.
When fitting for size there should be approx ½ inch (1-1.5cm) gap either side of riding boot. Fitted too small and there is a risk of getting your foot stuck, too big and there is a risk of your foot slipping right through the stirrup.
