I use polypads on my super sensitive horse Billy. Although he is an Irish sports, he is the finer sort and can be very fussy about his tack. The polypads work really well for him. I have used them on long day rides, galloping, jumping, schooling, hacking. When I wash them I just put them in the machine and they dry really quickly. In the summer I tend to use the shaped ones so I am not covering him more than necessary in the heat, but this is probably just me being fussy as he doesn't tend to get too sweaty anyway. I would certainly recommend this polypad as they are quick to change, (no annoying girth loops) and they add comfort for the horse without altering the fit of the saddle.
