The Polar Equine WearLink transmitter is a coded and wireless textile transmitter that can be used with any* Polar receiver to measure a horse's heart rate. The transmitter sends the heart rate to a distance of up to 1m. Due to this short range, this transmitter is designed to measure the horse's resting heart rate or to be used on a sulky.
Although it works fine, we do not recommend this transmitter for onboard measurement if you own our previous generation of receivers (non-W.I.N.D.), as the transmission range might not be sufficient to reach the rider's receiver on his wrist. If you'd like to measure your horse's heart rate while riding, we recommend that you choose a Polar Equine T51H or T52H coded Transmitter or a Polar Equine RS800 with W.I.N.D technology.
Built to last, the rigorous standards to which the Polar Equine WearLink transmitter is designed guarantee maximum quality. The transmitter has a changeable battery and it delivers up to two years of use exercising 20 hours a week. The transmitter is ECG accurate.
In fact, all of the features in Polar products are based upon scientific work and are in accordance with recommendations from the world’s leading sports medicine authorities. In addition to its own in-house research and development, Polar Electro is also involved in co-operation with a number of research institutions worldwide, the results of which have been presented in many scientific congresses and published in international scientific papers. Besides individuals interested in their personal well-being, Polar heart rate monitoring and analyzing technology has been used by numerous researchers in the fields of sports, exercise and health.
