Barrier Animal Healthcare Red Mite Concentrate is a fast acting insect repellent formula for amateur and professional use against red mite, chicken mite, roost mite and poultry mite on poultry and other birds. Red mite concentrate is an effective repellent and as a proactive ‘on bird’ deterrent to infestation or to rectify an existing problem. A liquid concentrate - for knapsack application directly onto the birds. Red mite does not taint eggs. Red mite concentrate is fully HSE approved – HSE license No: 8304 suitable for use in organic & intensive farming systems.
Directions for use: Ongoing maintenance – 1 part product to 50 parts water, where infestation exists – 1 part product to 20 parts water and repeat within 7 days. Do not use in conjunction with chemical based products, as this will render natural products useless.
